This week, the CE is celebrating World Creativity and Innovation Week. We’re highlighting all kinds of campus events and things to see with our map of Campus Creativity Hotspots. Check out things to do, see, make, and learn! We’re also gettin’ all kinds of creativity and innovation up in the blog. Each day this week, we’ll post about five key facets of creativity and innovation: inspiration, curiosity, passion, dedication, and reflection. Up today: passion.
Passion is a tremendous fuel that burns inside of you, pushing you to do, to make, to think, to create. Being passionate calls you to take action. For a while now, I’ve been passionate about food systems that can provide all people with access to healthy food that is produced using responsible and sustainable farming practices. I’m not sure why this has become so important to me. I’ve never had to deal with not having enough to eat and I’m not exactly a farmer. For whatever reason, however, I feel pulled towards it. I feel the need to do something, to make a difference. I love talking to people about it because I get so genuinely excited. For me, passion drives creativity because it makes it personal. I care about what I’m doing so I want to give it everything I want.
What drives you to create?
